And yet again...
Why is it that people have blogs and don't post to them? I wish I knew my excuse. Anyways, a lot has happened lately (like Bam! A new house! Bam! A new job!). Not that I'm making excuses or anything XD . Oh well. Wish me luck on the new job. I'll try to keep up.

uh, yeah, about that...
I've suspended my efforts on the 30 day challenge. I think I'll stick with trying to blog for now. But others who are or were interested should still check it out.

NZB Editor (nzbedit)NZB Editor (nzbedit) - Free Download
This utility can come in handy if you only need to download certain parts of a nzb file (a file used in most usenet readers to download a group of articles that are usually binary files, as opposed to text files). I'm using it now to redownload parts of a nzb I downloaded earlier that went missing. I could use my usenet reader to do this manually, but I'm hoping this is faster and easier. I'll update you later and see how this goes. Wish me luck!

Comical
Comical
(the above is a link to the program of the same name, go get it!)
If you love comics, this post is for you. You can read them on your computer! (And certain other digital devices like a sony psp or nintendo ds). If you have set up your usenet reader already, subscribe to these newsgroups:
alt.binaries.comics
alt.binaries.comics.dcp
alt.binaries.comics.dcp.toons
alt.binaries.pictures.comics
alt.binaries.pictures.comics.complete
alt.binaries.pictures.comics.dcp
alt.binaries.pictures.comics.repost
alt.binaries.pictures.comics.reposts
These are the most active groups. Your newsreader may let you search by groupname. If so, just use that (probably easier than typing those names). Search for comic. Be aware that usenet is not really censored in any meaningful way. You will find adult content in just about any newsgroup. So don't let children do this unsupervised! Just a friendly warning.

This website covers a lot of what I want to help people with, so I thought I'd show it to you. I'm still going to cover certain topics, but I'd thought I'd make this available now for the impatient among us (I admit that's often me as well!). Hope this helps you guys!

I'm hoping that this doesn't affect the other news service providers. I'll try to keep tabs on this.
